Seat reservations
Passengers are required to issue tickets within a predetermined date and time of reservation. These data are disclosed by the ticket offices of the KTEL Otherwise, the reservation will be automatically cancelled.
Open date tickets
Passengers with open-date tickets must make a reservation in time for the route of their choice. The company is not liable in case there are no positions available. In the case of open return tickets, their period of validity shall be indicated.
Cancellations-Returns
The KTEL shall return 70% of the ticket price in case of cancellation of a seat reservation for an intercity line at least 8 hours before departure or 50% in case of cancellation of the reservation within 8 hours before the time of departure.
The KTEL is not obliged to return any amount of money if the indicated date and time of the trip has passed. However, KTEL has the possibility of modification, instead of the previous cancellation, as regards the date of travel or transfer to other persons without any charge applied to those persons (subject to the case of transfer of a regular ticket to a person entitled to a reduced ticket or free movement where the corresponding amount is refunded to the original ticket holder). In any case (cancellation or change of destination or route or change of passenger or change of date) an approval of the ticket by the competent employee of the KTEL only is required.

Ticket Prices
The ticket prices of the KTEL companies throughout Greece are determined by Ministerial Decision of the Ministry of Economy, Infrastructure, Maritime Affairs and Tourism.
REDUCED TICKETS
Discount
Special discounts apply on the tickets of the KTEL of Kozani by the necessary demonstration of the relevant documents that certify the entitlement to the discount when the ticket is issued and at each check by the employees of the company. Otherwise, the passenger shall pay the resulting difference in money until the price of the whole ticket is covered.
Return trip
A special discount is provided on return tickets.
Students (50% or 25%)
University students, holders of a special e-ticket card (now Electronic Academic Identity with the indication “Ticket Card”, according to JMD Φ.593259 / Β3 / 2012 GG B2377 / 2012) pay:
• 50% of the regular ticket price on the road intercity lines connecting their place of permanent residence with the city where the school of the beneficiary students is located and vice versa.
• For the remaining urban and intercity transport of the country the above students are granted a 25% discount on the regular ticket price.
It is necessary to show the student ID (pass) when issuing the ticket and during the check that will take place during the journey.
Multi-child families (50%)
All lines provide a discount for multi-child families. It is necessary to show the multi-child card (pass) when the ticket is issued and during the check that will take place during the journey.
Disabled people (50%)
Discounts are provided to disabled people for all the lines. It is necessary to show the special card (pass) when issuing the ticket and during the check that will take place during the journey.
Military personnel
A discount is granted on travel tickets for military personnel in order to carry out their duties. It is necessary to show the military ID when the ticket is issued and during the check that will take place during the journey.
Police officers
A discount is provided on travel tickets for police officers to carry out their duties. It is necessary to show the police ID when the ticket is issued and during the check that will take place during the journey.
Passenger group
Prices for groups are determined after special agreements with the KTEL.
Children
Children aged 0 to 6 years travel for free.
